TOPICS OF INTEREST
This International Symposium on High-Tech Polymer Materials (HTPM) is the tenth in a series which are held once in about two years in China. Based on the success of the former nine ones, HTPM-10 will be held in Beijing, China, in Oct 22-25, 2018, of which the scientific program will concern with all aspects of high-tech polymer materials, which have potential widespread applications in such diverse areas as optoelectronics and microelectronics, medicine and biology, aerospace and aviation industry due to their unique combination of physical and chemical properties.
This symposium is organized to bring together academic and industrial scientists interested in all aspects of high-tech polymer materials, to review and assess the current state of knowledge, to provide a forum for exchange and cross-fertilization of ideas, and to define problem areas which need intensified efforts.
Topics of interest include:
(1) Synthesis and characterization of polymer materials: newly developed synthetic methodologies; property-enhanced materials; modification method of natural polymers; high-tech oriented polymers including high heat-resistant, high strong and tough, low/high dielectric, high transparent, medical and biodegradable, new energy etc.
(2) Physical and/or mechanical properties of polymer materials: such as thermal and mechanical properties, dielectric properties, ion exchange membranes, gas separations, photosensitivity, biodegradability, biocompatibility etc.
(3) From bench-top to pilot processes and material applications: New pilot process and industrial applications, and extensive application of materials in optoelectronics, energy and transportation, biomaterial and medical uses, aerospace and aviation etc.

Invited lectures (20 min each) and poster sessions

BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF INSTITUTE OF CHEMISTRY, CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
ICCAS (Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences), founded in 1956, located in Beijing, is a multi-disciplinary research institute dedicated to the basic research in broad fields of chemical sciences, and to the key developments of innovative high-technology, as well as collaborative high-technology applications.
The major research areas at ICCAS include polymer sciences, physical chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry. There are about 600 employees, including 100 professors, 200 associate professors and 250 assistant professors, and about 1000 graduate students. ICCAS currently has been undertaking a variety of important research projects, including Major National Basic Research Projects, National High-tech Development Projects, Natural Science Foundation of China funded projects and Chinese Academy of Sciences supported projects etc.

第十届国际高技术高分子材料学术会议由中国科学院、国家自然科学基金委、中国化学会共同主办，中国科学院化学研究所承办，定于2018年10月22-25日在北京举行。此学术会议为高分子材料领域系列国际会议，每两年举办一届。热忱邀请您参加本次学术会议，现在开始征集论文。有关事项如下：
1．会议主题（详细情况见英文第一轮通知）。
A: 高分子材料聚合反应及新型聚合物的合成、结构、表征。
B: 高分子材料物理、化学性能，发光材料、光敏性聚合物、高耐热性聚合物、高强高韧聚合物、高/低介电性聚合物，功能高分子和生物医用高分子，天然高分子及环境友好高分子。
C: 高分子材料在能源交通、生物医疗、绿色环保、光/微电子、航空航天等高技术领域的应用基础研究。
2．会议语言为英文。
